This audience-focused school of science communications started as the Banff Science Communications Program in 2006, where top tier faculty members from the TV and magazine worlds worked hands-on with scientists and communicators through unforgettable and life-changing two-week intensives. The annual program was supported by Canada's national research funding agency, NSERC, fuelled by sponsors and blasted into the stratosphere with international instructors and participants.

Growing creativity and confidence

The training approach was honed through ten years of offering a two-week intensive in beautiful Banff.
The two-week model has evolved into condensed three- and four-day intensives, targeting specialized groups and skills.
A one-day workshop is available for science and communications teams.
